Content Moderation & Investigation Policy

1. Purpose & Scope

Chat.luxe is committed to operating a lawful, safe platform. This policy describes how content on Chat.luxe is reviewed before it is made available, what content is prohibited, and how the platform receives, investigates, and acts on complaints. It applies to all content available on the platform, including AI-generated imagery and video and text-based conversations between users and AI companions.

2. Nature of Platform Content

All visual content on Chat.luxe (images and video) is generated by artificial intelligence and depicts fictional, computer-generated characters. It does not depict any real, identifiable person. Text conversations are produced by an AI language model in private, one-to-one interactions between a user and an AI companion.

Chat.luxe does not permit users to upload, post, or publish images or video, and no user-submitted visual content is distributed to other users. There is no public feed and no user-to-user content sharing.

3. Human Review Prior to Publication

All visual content (images and video) undergoes human review and approval prior to being made available on the platform. Trained reviewers assess each item to confirm it complies with this policy before it can be served to any user. Content that does not pass review is not made available.

As part of this review, every image and video is checked to confirm that it does not appear to depict a minor or any person who appears to be under the age of eighteen (18), and that it does not depict any prohibited scenario described in Section 4.

4. Prohibited Content

The following categories of content are strictly prohibited on Chat.luxe and may not be created, generated, served, requested, or facilitated under any circumstances:

1. Any content that depicts, describes, or suggests a minor or any person appearing to be under the age of 18, including age-play or content implying minor status;
2. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including AI-generated or simulated material;
3. Non-consensual sexual content, including coercion, force, threats, blackmail, trafficking, or depictions of intoxication, unconsciousness, sleep, or inability to consent;
4. Bestiality;
5. Escorting, prostitution, or the arrangement of in-person sexual services;
6. Revenge content, leaked content, or non-consensual intimate imagery;
7. Content depicting real, identifiable individuals without authorization, including impersonation of real people or public figures;
8. Content promoting illegal activity, illegal drugs, or violence prohibited by applicable law;
9. Any content prohibited by applicable law or by the rules of our payment or service providers.

5. Age & Consent

Chat.luxe is strictly an 18+ platform. Users must confirm they are at least eighteen (18) years old, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, before creating an account or accessing any content.

Because all visual content is AI-generated and depicts no real, identifiable person, no real individual is a performer in any content on the platform. Federal recordkeeping requirements under 18 U.S.C. § 2257 apply to depictions of actual human performers and are inapplicable to purely synthetic content that depicts no real person. Should Chat.luxe ever distribute content depicting a real individual, that individual's age and written consent to distribute would be verified and documented in advance, consistent with all applicable law.

6. Conversation Safeguards

AI companions operate under content guardrails designed to prevent the generation of prohibited material described in Section 4. The system is configured to refuse and redirect requests that seek prohibited content. Conversations are private and are not published to other users.

7. Reporting a Concern or Complaint

Anyone — whether or not they are a user — may report content they believe violates this policy, is illegal, or depicts them or another person without consent. Reports can be submitted at any time to:

To help us investigate, please include a description of the content, where it was encountered, and the reason for the report. Reports may be submitted anonymously.

8. Investigation & Response

Every report is reviewed by our content moderation team. We act on the following timelines:

1. Suspected illegal content (including any suspected CSAM or non-consensual material): reviewed and, where warranted, removed as quickly as possible and no later than 24 hours after receipt;
2. All other complaints: reviewed and resolved within 7 days of receipt.

During an investigation, we may immediately suspend or remove access to the content in question. Content confirmed to violate this policy is removed from the platform and, where technically possible, prevented from being served again.

9. Reporting to Authorities

Chat.luxe has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material. Any suspected CSAM is preserved as required by law, removed, and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or applicable law enforcement. We cooperate fully with lawful requests from law enforcement.

10. Removal & Appeals

A person whose content or account is affected by a moderation decision may request review by contacting thamilton@chat.luxe. Complaints alleging that content depicts a real person without consent are prioritized, and such content is removed pending verification.

11. Responsibility & Recordkeeping

The platform operator is responsible for content moderation and for maintaining records of reports received and actions taken. Moderation records are retained consistent with applicable legal and payment-provider requirements. This policy is reviewed periodically and updated as legal, platform, and payment-network requirements evolve.
